![]() ![]() Easy to play during downtime or something and a lot of fun. I have been playing them for years, I just love fight games like them. ![]() Playing as these characters for the first time gave this game a special place to me, not to mention it's DAMN fun to play with friends!Īs for why I chose Ninja Destiny as my portable series. I loved Special because it was WAY ahead of the rest, featuring things like Itachi's Susano'o, Killer Bee, MS/Amaterasu Sasuke. Oh and don't get me started on the opening cutscene: The roster is good, the ultimates and team ultimates are badass, no complaints. UN5 was great because it took what UN4 should have been, and made an awesome game of it, expanding upon it in every conceivable way. It also covered the entire story of Part I in the game. UN3 was great to play with friends, added jutsu clashes, customizable jutsu, first time we saw pretty much every character from Part I playable in a game, and it was just great. Moving up will allow the character to jump, and all characters can double. ![]() They can also Sidestep left or right around their opponent in 3D space. Double-tapping in the forward direction will result in a dash while double-tapping in the back direction will result in a quick back flip. I was never a big fan of the portable Ultimate Ninja games. Movement: Characters are always focused on a single opponent at a time, and can move toward or away from them. On consoles it's probably a tie between Gekitou Ninja Taisen SPECIAL for Wii, Ultimate Ninja 3 and Ultimate Ninja 5 for PS2.įor handhelds it's the Ninja Destiny/Shinobi Retsuden series for me. ![]()
